Died – Annie Aanonson at the home of her parents in Swan Lake Township Wednesday, Aug. 12th, 1896. She was taken sick while in Estherville about a week before her death and was removed to her home, where the best of medical care failed to arrest her disease. She had many friends in Estherville, where she was well known. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, August 19, 1896)
