Estherville – Services for Rick Allen Olson, 23, of Estherville, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Kermit Rye and Pastor Arlyn Norris officiating. Interment will be in East Side Memorial Cemetery, Estherville. He died Sunday, May 31, 1992 at his home in Estherville. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Sept. 26, 1968 at Estherville the son of Olen Michael and Diana (Sharar) Olson. He was a graduate of Lincoln Central High School, Gruver, in 1987. He was employed with Hardee’s while attending High School then worked for Atria in Jackson, Minn. and was currently employed by Crystal Tips in Spirit Lake. He was a member of Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his parents Mike and Diana Olson of Estherville; one daughter, Ashley Ann, Estherville; maternal grandmother Florraine Ring, Dolliver and maternal great grandparents Glen and Helen Sharar, Estherville; and one sister, Mrs. Mike (Linda) Booth, Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and a step-grandfather. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 3, 1992)
