Doris Phillips
Doris Marjorie (Baughman) Phillips the daughter of Guy and Irene (Swinderman) Baughman was born October 15, 1930, in Carthage, South Dakota, and departed this life on Friday, April 23, 2010, at her home in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 79.

Doris received her education in the Howard, South Dakota schools and later graduating from Madison, South Dakota High School.

On December 11, 1949, she was united in marriage to Delbert Phillips in Howard. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Madison and then moved to Estherville in 1970. In her leisure time Doris loved to spend time playing bingo, shopping, playing cards and most especially, spending time with family and friends.

Doris was a member of the VFW Auxilliary.

Left to cherish Doris's memory is her husband, Delbert of Estherville; three children, Dennis Phillips of Madison, South Dakota; Jerry Phillips and his wife, Karen of Estherville; Dawn Shonkwiler and Dean Wickman of Wallingford, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Tammy and Scott Halverson, Denise and Wayne Holmes, Ann and Brian Hansen, Chris Shonkwiler, Tarah Shonkwiler, Steve and Amanda Wickman, Doug and Kim Wickman; eighteen great-grandchildren, Jessica, Miranda, Mackenzie, Zachary, Justin, Austin, Caitlin, Easton, Sasha, Buddy, MaKayla, Briana, Ashlyn, Zachary, Dylan, Tyson, Trevor and Carson; sister, Donna Frewaldt and her husband, Bob; two step-brothers, Boyd Skyberg and his wife, Ruth; Roger Skyberg and his wife, Gloria; sister-in-law, Mary Bryant and her husband, Bud and one brother-in-law, Alfred Phillips.

She has been preceded in death by an infant daughter; her parents; two brothers, Lyle and Lester.
