ANNIE LINN
Annie Margaret (Howard) Linn, the daughter of Frank and Ruby (Hall) Howard, was born November 11, 1926, in Welcome, Minnesota. She passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, at Avera Holy Family Health in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 86.
She received her education in the Emmet Consolidated School.

On September 3, 1944, she was united in marriage to Goodwin Linn. The couple made their home in the Estherville area and Annie was employed at Holy Family Hospital as a Nurse Aide from 1963 - 1977. She was united in marriage to Arnold Dalen on February 28, 1976. They made their home in Estherville and Annie worked at Sperry Univac in Jackson, Minnesota, for 10 years before retiring. Arnold passed away February 23, 1990. Annie was united in marriage to Goodwin Linn on January 23, 1993. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading, crocheting and boating.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Estherville.

Left to cherish Annie's memory are her husband, Goodwin Linn of Estherville; her children, 6 sons, Tom Linn and his wife, Irena of Houston, Texas; Gary Linn and his wife, Shirley of Grain Valley, Missouri; Kenneth Linn and his wife, Lynda of Monroe, Louisiana; Duane Linn of Estherville; Randy Linn and his wife, Connie of Armstrong; Steven Linn and his wife, Alta of Superior, Iowa; one daughter, Kaylene Linn of Estherville; 2 step-sons, Mike Dalen and his wife, Lelo of Estherville; David Dalen of Estherville; 2 step-daughters, Karen Russell and her husband, Gary of Estherville; Kathy Dean and her husband, David of Estherville; 24 grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 30 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Pence Howard and his wife, Evonne of Boone, Iowa; Arthur Howard and his wife, Janet of Emmetsburg, Iowa; sister, Jennie Menssen of Estherville; sister-in-laws, Mabel Howard; Beulah Linn and Naomi Linn.

Preceding Annie in death were her daughter, Gloria; son-in-law, Ronald Helmich; granddaughter, Angie (Linn) Holland; grandson, Kevin Helmich; great-grandson, Tallon Richard; 2 great-great-grandchildren; step-granddaughter, Cindy Wallace; parents; sisters, Mildred, Elizabeth and Betty and brother, Norman Howard.
