Leonard Tangeros
Pharr, Texas – Leonard J. Tangeros, 80, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 1994 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas.

He was a retired engineer with the Rock Island Railroad with 33 years of service. He was a 50 year member of United Transportation Union, and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville.

Survivors include his wife, Arliss Tangeros ; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Ann) De Moss of Phoenix, Aiiz. and Mrs. Lorne (Linda) Turner of Tower, Minn., a step-son Pete Buffer of Kalona; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville at a later date. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 3, 1994)
