Estherville – Memorial services for Ida H. Scott will be held at First Christian Church in Estherville on Saturday, April 21 at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Michael Thiel officiating.

Ida was born to her parents, Christian and Mary Hansen on Aug. 10, 1901 in Lakota, Iowa. She received her education in the Huntington and Dunnell, Minnesota schools. She graduated from Dunnell High School.

Ida was united in marriage to Walter Scott on June 10, 1922 in Lamberton, Minn. They lived most of their life in Estherville.

She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church. She was a Charter Member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #3388.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter and two sons, Daniel and Bruce. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen and her husband Don Martens of Estherville; sons, Larry and his wife Anne of Clear Lake, Gene and his wife Kathy of Menonomee Falls, Wis. and Jimmie and his wife Ayako of Clear Lake; daughter-in-law, Anne Scott of Estherville; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
