Ringsted – The funeral services for Genevieve Mouritzen [Mouritsen], the eleven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Mouritsen, was held Saturday afternoon from the St. Paul’s Church. The body was brought here from St. Peter, Minn., where the Mouritsen family reside. Genevieve passed away Wednesday [March 15, 1933] from heart trouble and other complications and has been ill a long time. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nels Mouritsen and Mrs. Nels Jepsen of Ringsted. The Mouritsen family formerly resided here and have the sympathy of the entire community. A large number of friends from St. Peter, Minn.; Ceylon, Minn., and surrounding towns attended the funeral. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 22, 1933)
