Funeral services for Annie R. [Redpath] Rosburg, 86, Estherville, were held this afternoon, Feb 20, at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel, Estherville. The Rev. Donald Johnson, Huntington Methodist Church, officiated at the 1:30pm services. Burial was at East Side Cemetery. She passed away Friday [February 17, 1978] afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

Born Dec. 17, 1891 in Emmet County, near Estherville, to William and Ora (Dodds) Weir, she was educated in and graduated from the Estherville schools. On June 17, 1914 she married Jess Rosburg in Estherville. They farmed in Ellsworth Township until 1963 when they retired and moved into Estherville.

She was a member of the Huntington Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jess; two sons, Leo Rosburg, Jackson and Harley Rosburg, Estherville; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Edna) Tirevold, Cyrus, MN., Mrs. Frederick (Vera) Weir, Colorado Spirngs, CO., and Mrs. Merle (Ora) Grems, Estherville; one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Donnahue, in California; 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one granddaughter, three brothers and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 20, 1978)
