Dolliver – Services for Mrs. Edward N. (Elizabeth N.) Rienhardt, 87, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the United Methodist Church Dolliver with the Rev. Marshall Monthei officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery, Estherville. She died Thursday, July 23, 1987 at Holy Family Hospital. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville is in charge of arrangements.

She was born October 24, 1899 in Estherville, Ellsworth Township and was a 1916 graduate of Estherville High School. She taught school at Sunnyside and Graettinger Gravel schools. After her marriage to Edward N. Rienhardt on Jan. 20, 1923 in Dickinson County, the couple farmed near Dunnell, Minn. In 1927 they moved to Emmet County and continued farming. In 1934 they moved to the Dolliver area. After her husband’s death June 11, 1964, she moved into Dolliver. She made her home for a time with daughter Ruth and spent summers in Dolliver and winters at Starbuck, Minn. She has been a resident at Good Samaritan Center since Dec. 1985.

She was a member of the Dolliver United Methodist Church, UMW, Chatter Club, and originated Six Square Mile Club; member of Fron Lutheran Circle and Sewing Club at Starbuck and Red Cross Gray Laides.

Survivors include two sons: Kenneth Reinhardt, Estherville and Edward Jr., Tyler, Tex.; six daughters: Ruth Klingbeil, Starbuck; Mrs. James (Harriet) Brown, Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Weber, Mrs. Ron (Elizabeth) Harris, all of Estherville; Mrs. Richard (Charlene) Niffenegger, Drasco, Ark.; and Mrs. Guy (Ivadel) Eick, Terril; 26 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren; two brothers: Ivan Linge, Terril and Marvin Linge, Armstrong; one sister Luella Mack, Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter; four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and four brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 25, 1987)
