Estherville – Services for Kathryn A. (Mooney) Pfaff, 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Bowe officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Tuesday [December 22, 1981] morning in Good Samaritan Center.

Friends may call at the Chapel after 2 p.m. Wednesday until time of service Thursday.

She was born July 21, 1894 at Sac City, Iowa and on June 10, 1915 was married to Frank Pfaff. They moved to Estherville in 1937 where they operated the Pfaff Baking Co.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine and Pythian Sisters.

She is survived by one grandson, Gary Foderberg, Overland Park, Kans.; two great-grandchildren and one brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Frances Foderberg. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 23, 1981)
