Estherville – Funeral services for Glenda Paris, 65, of Estherville will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, August 9 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home chapel in Estherville with the Rev. Kim Eans officiating. Interment will be held at East Side Cemetery. She died on Saturday, August 5 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Visitation was held Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born on November 14, 1929 in Dayton, Iowa, the daughter of Wilber “Todd” and Gladys (Anderson) Bricker. She attended school in Dayton before graduating from Pilot Mound High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to William Paris, Sr. on August 14, 1948 in Spirit Lake and the couple lived in Estherville all their married life. She worked at the Demoney School for several years in the hot lunch program. She was a member of the Holy Family Auxiliary.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Craig (Linda) Nelson of Terril; one son, William Paris, Jr. of Spencer; one granddaughter; one brother, Duane Bricker of Boone; two sisters, Mrs. Don (Ramona) Lind of Gowrie and Mrs. Merle (Carol) Moeller of Boone.

She was preceded in death by her husband on October 28, 1993, her parents and one infant brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 9, 1995)
