Bill Paris, Sr.
Estherville – Services for Bill Paris, Sr., 65, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. John P. Besore, III officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1993 at his home.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

He was born March 13, 1928 at Fraser, the son of Cloyd and Olive (Martz) Paris, and attended Pilot Mound school graduating from high school in 1946. He married Glenda Bricker Aug. 14, 1948 at Spirit Lake. He worked for Tobin, Hill and later John Morrell Packing plants in Estherville, retiring in 1984. He was a member of UFCW Local 79 in Estherville.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda of Estherville; son William Jr. of Spencer; daughter, Mrs. Craig (Linda) Nelson of Terril; one granddaughter, Callie Nelson; sisters: Waneta King of Fraser; Geraldine Woodyard and Betty Keeler of Estherville; Patty Casotti, Janice Patterson, Judy Sondol all of Boone; one brother, Raymond Paris of Fraser.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 30, 1993)
