Arlington Heights, Ill. – Mrs. Ronald L. Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.N. Mouritsen, Estherville, died early Monday morning at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Ill., after a long illness.

Services will be held in Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 11, 1977)

Estherville – Services for Patricia Ruth Martin, Arlington Heights, Ill., and formerly of Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Harrison Dawes officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin died Monday, July 11, 1977, at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Ill.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mouritsen, Estherville, Mrs. Martin received her education in Estherville schools and graduated in 1950. She attended Buena Vista College, Storm Lake, for one year and was employed one year with KLIL Radio Station, Estherville.

She was married to Ronald L. Martin, Cherokee, Sept. 5, 1954, at Estherville, and lived most of her married life in Arlington Heights, Ill. She is a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Ronald, Arlington Heights; one son, Peter Martin, Arlington Heights; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mouritsen, Estherville; and one brother, Richard Mouritsen, Scottsdale, Ariz.

Friends may call at Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, from noon Wednesday until noon Thursday, when the body will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 12, 1977)
