Estherville – Services for Don Morris, 66, of Dolliver will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Estherville with the Rev. Mike Thiel officiating. Interment will follow at East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. He died on Sunday, October 17, 1993 at his home.He was born on June 20, 1927 in Little Falls, Minn., the son of Clarence and Linda (Gilberg) Morris, and received his education in the Ceylon, Minn., schools. He was united in marriage to Audrey Morris on April 20, 1946 in Fairmont, Minn.
The couple lived in Estherville, White Bear Lake and Stacy, Minn., where he was employed shearing sheep. They later moved to Dolliver where he has been raising horses. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Estherville and the Greater Midwest Driving Club. He served in the United States Army Engineers and was stationed in Japan.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Morris of Dolliver, three sons, Sam and Steven of Ceylon, Minn., and Shelley of Sibley; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, James and Hurley of Ceylon and Merrill of Ridgefield, WA.
He was preceded in death by one son, one grandson, his parents, and one brother and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 18, 1993)
