Estherville – Services for Mrs. Floyd (Stella) Miller of Estherville will be held Wednesday t 10:30 a.m. at Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Arlyn Norris officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery, Estherville. She died Sunday, April 28, 1996 at Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.

Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements where visitation was held Tuesday evening.

She was born April 10, 1924 at Livermore, the daughter of Henry and Isabelle (Peterson) Schrieber [Schreiber]. She started school in Hayfield and graduated from Seneca High School in 1940. On Dec. 31, 1941 she married Floyd Miller at Kohoka, Mo. Following marriage the couple lived in Hastings, Neb. and moved to Estherville in 1947. She worked in nursing homes and babysat and assisted her husband with his business bookkeeping. She was a member of the care Review committee at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville for three years. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church and ELCW.

Survivors include her husband Floyd of Estherville; daughters; Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Gottsche and Sharon Ferguson of Estherville; and Mrs. Bill (Sandy) Hall of Algona; grandchildren; Robin Gottsche, Chad, Dr. Bill, Lance and Jennifer Hall; brothers: Lester Schrieber of Eagle Grove, Allen Schrieber, Vinton and Peter Schrieber of Badger; one sister, Dorothy Henricksen, Humboldt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, three brothers and two sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 1, 1996)
