Estherville – Services for Marilyn Mae Merriott, 67, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel, Estherville, with the Rev. David Wendel officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1990 at Good Samaritan Center.

She was born Feb. 3, 1923 at Gruver, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Reid) Merriott and attended Estherville School. The family moved to Estherville in 1941 where she has made her home since. She was employed at ECHO, and has been a resident of Good Samaritan Center since 1987. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a brother LeRoy Merriott and sister Mrs. Richard (Pauline) Myers both of Estherville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 17, 1990)
