Estherville – Services for Leonard Morris Linn, 59, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Stan Eyberg officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Friday, July 29, 1983 at his home.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Monday.

Linn was born May 16, 1924 at Montgomery, the son of Albert and Ida (Dalen) Linn. He came to Estherville with his parents as a child and attended Estherville Schools. On Dec. 24, 1946 he was united in marriage with Neomi Clabaugh at Jackson, Minn. Linn. Linn worked in construction and maintenance most of his life, including five years with the Estherville School system. He was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Neomi, Estherville; four daughters: Mrs. Eugene (Deanna) Sorbo, Mrs. Marc (Sonia) Moore, Estherville; Mrs. Dale (Wanda) Knudson, Visalia, Calif., Mrs. Patrick (Julia) Jasper, Ormand Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; five brothers: Jalmar, Rolfe, Harry, Colfax, Wilhelm, Alfred and Goodwin all of Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 1, 1983)
