From the Armstrong Journal:
Gone to Her Reward
Mrs. Eunice Bunt, widow of Reuben Bunt, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.O. Dutton, in Armstrong, Tuesday [prob. May 25, 1897, based on reprint of article from Armstrong paper] morning. She had been feeble for some time and her death was not unexpected. She did not suffer much during her last illness and passed peacefully and quietly to the world beyond.

Mrs. Bunt was born in New York state, October 19, 1812. She came to Iowa with her husband in 1853 and settled in Alamakee county where they resided ten years and then moved to Emmet county, where she resided till the time of her death with the exception of a few years she was back in New York. Her husband died nine years ago in this county. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Bunt, five of whom are now living. One resides near the old homestead in New York, one in California, one in Arkansas, and two in Emmet county. Those residing here are S.D. Bunt and Mrs. E.O. Dutton. The funeral services were held in the Methodist church Wednesday forenoon Rev. A. T. Carpenter delivering the sermon. The remains were laid to rest in the Seneca cemetery beside those of her husband.
