Mrs. Andrew Anderson
Mrs. Andrew Anderson of Spencer, 24 years of age, passed away at the Spencer hospital Tuesday morning, March 15, death following an ailment of several months. Mrs. Anderson suffered from mastoid and sinus trouble. Death was caused by an infection on her lip which extended to the sinuses.Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at one o’clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Swartz at Superior and at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian church of Estherville, with the Rev. Arthur G. Bailey in charge.
The Lutheran quartet of Wallingford sang several selections for the services. Burial was made at the Oak Hill cemetery.
Myrtle Pearl Swartz was born near Wallingford in Emmet county, September 18, 1907. She received her education in the Estherville schools and graduated from the Estherville high school with the class of 1925.
November 3, 1928, she was married to Andrew Anderson and they moved to Wisconsin to reside, returning to Estherville the following year. Last July they moved to Spencer where Mr. Anderson has been employed by the Spencer Construction company.
She leaves to mourn her untimely death her husband and son Everett Duane, a year and one half old, her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Otto Schaper of Estherville and Mrs. Lee Book of Terril, a brother Donald at home, other relatives and a host of friends.
