Estherville – Funeral services for Vivian G. Juhl, 85, of Estherville will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 1996 at the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville with the Rev. Neal Armstrong officiating. Interment will be held at East Side Cemetery, Estherville. She died on Saturday, October 5 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

Visitation will be held today, Monday, October 7 from 4-8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born on December 2, 1910 in Joliet, Ill., the daughter of Thomas Burt and Lyla May (Olsen) Murley. She received her education in the rural Emmet County and Poulsbo, Wash. schools. She was united in marriage to Edwin C. Juhl on December 4, 1930 in Aurora, Ill. After their marriage, the couple moved to the Estherville area where they farmed. The couple retired in 1975 and moved in to Estherville.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and Presbyterian Women’s Group. She alwo was a member of the Pioneer Club, M & M Clubs, Birthday Club and Huntington Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Beverly) Hasslinger of Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Merlin (Marlene) Twito of Estherville, one daughter-in-law, Mary Anita Juhl of Estherville, 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; twin-sister, Virginia Gertrude Juhl of Estherville; sisters, Madeline Emerson of Tucson, Ariz.; Helen Murley of Aurora; Avis Murley of Aurora; three brothers: Sherril Murley of Port Orchard, Wash.; Hansel Murley of Arkansas; and Lyle Murley of Thousand Oaks, Calif.
