Harvey John Jensen, 67, Estherville, passed away Saturday [December 7, 1974] at Holy Family Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church. Burial in the East Side Cemetery. He was born Dec 30, 1906 in Schleswig, IA to Chris and Mary Tuet Jensen. He received his education in Crawford County and was married on Dec. 16, 1930 to Alice Jepsen. Mr. Jensen farmed in the Schleswig, Holstein and Denison area until 1956 when he moved to Estherville as a carpenter. He was employed from 1964 until his retirement in 1970 as a custodian at the Emmet County State Bank and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; two sons, Glen and Walter (Lois) of Estherville; six daughters, Mrs. Donald(Norma) Williams Sr., Nazareth, PA., Mrs. Donald (MaryLou) Spoo, Estherville, Mrs. Jon (Linda) Lindquist, Lafayette, MN, Elaine, Alice Faye and Janice, all at home and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. (MC)

Estherville – Harvey John Jensen, 67, Estherville, passed away Saturday at Holy Family Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Harvey Throop officiating and burial in the East Side Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 30, 1906 in Schleswig to Chris and Mary Tuet Jensen. He received his education in Crawford County and was married on Dec. 16, 1930 to Alice Jepsen.
