Estherville – Harold Hageman, 58, Estherville, died Sunday [April 16, 1978] at his home at 1321 First Avenue South. He was found Monday morning.

Services for Mr. Hageman will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Max Goldman officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home after noon Wednesday until time of services.

Mr. Hageman was born Dec. 1, 1919, at Huntington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hageman. He received his education in Estherville schools and was married to LaVonne Cleveland on July 3, 1942, at Jackson, Minn.

He was a veteran of World War II and, after his service years, was a mechanic for Donovan Motors, Estherville, for 32 years.

Mr. Hageman is survived by his mother, Clara Hageman, Estherville; one son, Kerry Hageman, Minneapolis, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. Tone (Frances) Kateley, Estherville. He was preceded in death by his wife and father. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 18, 1978)
