ESTHERVILLE — Mrs. Margaret W. Brown, 70, Clear Lake and formerly of Estherville, died Thursday [August 23, 1979] at Clear Lake.

Services for Mrs. Brown will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. R. B. Flentgen of the Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Zerke, she was born Oct. 25, 1908, at Estherville. She received her education in Estherville schools and was married to Art E. Brown on Nov. 19, 1932, at Chicago, Ill.

She lived in Estherville most of her life, moving to Clear Lake three years ago.

Mrs. Brown is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Avis) Piggott, Fontana, Calif.; one son, Jerald J. Johnson, Ringsted; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Vivian Freed, Estherville. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister.
