Estherville – Eldon (Buck) Friesner, 54, Estherville, died Saturday, Dec. 30, at Holy Family Hospital.Services for Mr. Friesner will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Harvey G. Throop officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, until noon Wednesday, when the body will be taken to the church.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Friesner, he was born Nov. 17, 1924, at Manson. Mr. Friesner received his education in rural schools and was married to Gladys Wright on Feb. 2, 1944, at Rockwell City.
Mr. Friesner moved to Estherville in 1947, where he was employed at John Morrell and Company. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys, Estherville; two sons, Gary Friesner, Nebraska City, Neb., and Larry Friesner, Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Marlyn (Pam) Fry, Estheville; and Mrs. James (Debbie) Peton, Atlantic; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Friesner, Fort Dodge, and Dean Friesner, Estes Park, Colo.; and five sisters, Mrs. Marie Kessler, Eldra, Mrs. Gerald (Barbara) Garrels, Lake View, Mrs. Duane (LaVon) Carlson, Roosevelt, Minn., Mrs. James (Verla) Rulison, El Paso, Ill., and Bonnie Friesner, Chicago, Ill.
