Estherville – Services for Mrs. Lester (Hazel) Grems, 62, will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dan Swanson of the Union Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the East Side Cemetery. She died Monday, March 18, 1985 at Holy Family Hospital.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Hazel E. [Emma] DeWall was born Feb. 2, 1923 in Dickinson County, Iowa, the daughter of William and Anna (DeWall) DeWall. She attended Superior School and was a graduate of Superior High School. On Aug. 26, 1950, she was united in marriage with Lester Grems at Jackson, Minn. She lived most of her life in Estherville and has worked the past 25 years at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Survivors include her husband Lester, Estherville; three sons: James L. Grems, Forsyth, Mont., Robert L. Grems, Estherville and Randall G. Grems, Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Alice Longman, Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 20, 1985)
