Fenton – Services for Chris J. Dahl, 91, of Fenton, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with Pastor Robert Pickell officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery in Estherville. He died October 30, 1993 at Fairmont Community Hospital in Fairmont, Minn.

Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.

He was born Jan. 20, 1921 in Ringsted, the son of Anton and Mary (Fink) Dahl. He attended Seneca Consolidated School. On April 18, 1942 he was united in marriage to Beulah Carlisle in Trenton, Mo. He farmed the family arm east of Seneca his entire life. He served as a Seneca Township Trustee for six years and as the Seneca Township Assessor for six years. He was also on the Kossuth County Board of Review for 22 years.

He is survived by his wife and his son Dennis Dahl of Pocahontas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 1, 1993)
