Mrs. Jim Clark
1926-1977
Estherville – Services for Mrs. Jim (Nova) Clark, 51, Estherville, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Coons officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.

Mrs. Clark died Sunday [September 11, 1977] at her home, the victim of cancer.

Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, is in charge of services, were friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Clark was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Anderson. She received her education in Oklahoma and Montana, graduating from high school in 1943 at Malta, Mont. She was married to Jim Clark Feb. 5, 1943, at Port Angeles, Wash. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1954 and came to Estherville in 1971, where she was later employed by Dr. Pfund. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband, Jim, Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Mary) Krager, Oakland, Ore.; six sons, Jim Clark Jr., Sioux Falls, Richard Clark, Baltimore, Md., Terry Clark, Owatonna, Minn., William Clark, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., and John Clark and David Clark, both at home; seven grandchildren; one brother, Harold Anderson, and sister, Mrs. Hettie Overbo, both of Kalispell, Mont. She was preceded in death by her parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 12, 1977)
