Estherville – Services for Mrs. Ivol (Edna) Clark, 90, Estherville, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bowe of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be at the East Side Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1983 at the Good Samaritan Center.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday.

Edna Mae Maloney was born Nov. 13, 1893 at Rockwell City, the daughter of James and Lillia (Bishop) Maloney. She attended Bayard, Ia. and Fairmont, Minn. schools and graduated from Fairmont Normal Training School in 1912. Following graduation from school, she taught rural schools in Martin County, Minn. and Emmet County, Iowa for two years. On April 26, 1914 she was united in marriage with Ivol Clark at Spirit Lake. They farmed in Emmet County until 1952 when they retired and moved into their new home in Estherville. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Estherville.

Survivors include one son, Merlyn Clark, Wallingford; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; three sisters and one granddaughter. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 30, 1983)
