Arnold Carey
Estherville – Services for Arnold A. Carey, 84 of Estherville, will be today, starting at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Estherville. The Rev. David Wendel will officiate. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery. He died June 3, 1994 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home of Estherville was in charge of arrangements.

He was born August 30, 1909 in Dolliver, the son of Alexander and Loddie [Lottie] (Osborn) Carey. He attended the rural country schools. He was united in marriage with Ardis Martin on April 15, 1933 in Spirit Lake. He lived his entire life in the Estherville area where he farmed and was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Karen) Peterson of Estherville; two grandsons; a brother, Orville Carey of Waterford, Michigan and several nieces and nephews,.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant child, four brothers and three sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 6, 1994)
