The death of Mrs. John A. Anderson occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd and her burial took place the following Friday at the east side cemetery. The cause of her death being that dreaded disease pneumonia.

Mrs. Anderson was nearly fifty years of age and had lived in this vicinity about fifteen years. The deceased leaves a husband and two sons, one being in Texas and was not able to be present at the funeral.

The funeral services were held in the Methodist church in charge of Rev. Ginn. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, February 10, 1904)
