Funeral services were held on Monday for Mrs. Lena [Larson] Wilkin from the Huffman funeral parlors. We received notice of her death as we went to press last week.

Mrs. Wilkin was well known in this city having resided here for many years and having established the Fashion Shop in this city. She was born Feb. 24, 1884, at Ellsworth, Minn. She received her education there and was a resident there during girlhood. She came to this city 27 years ago. She was a member of the Eastern Star lodge and the White Shrine.

Those chapters attended the services in a body. The services were officiated by the Rev. Frielie Conaway of the Presbyterian church. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, October 14, 1948)
