Estherville – Memorial services for Neil K. [Keith] Brown, 93, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville, with the Rev. Dr. John P. Besore III of First Presbyterian Church officiating. He died Sunday, June 14, 1992 at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D. There will be no visitation prior to services.

He was born May 24, 1899 at West Bend, the son of A.C. and Lulu (Gullixson) Brown. He graduated from Estherville High School in 1916. On Nov. 8, 1935 he married Dorothy Ehlers at New Salem, S.D. He was a licensed and registered land surveyor and was employed by Emmet County and for many years by the Iowa State Conservation Commission. Upon retirement, he did private surveying and consulting work.

He was a past member and chairman of Emmet County Zoning Board; member of Emmet County Historical Society and a Life Member of B.P.O.E. (Elks Lodge).

Survivors include three sons: Bruce, Seattle, Wash., Perry, Arlington, Va., and Jeffrey, Manitowoc, Wis.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and two sisters.
