Avis Nauss
Avis Cole Nauss of Estherville passed away January 29, 1992, in Aurora, Colorado. Interment was held at Oak Hill Cemetery.

She was born in Yellow Medicine County, Minn., the daughter of S. Bedford and Ethel Maxwell Cole. She was united in marriage to Albert August Nauss in 1925 at Terril.

She is survived by daughter, Eloise (son-in-law Daniel) Rollo, son Lee (daughter-in-law Maria) Nauss, four grandchildren, Mark (wife Shirley) Osher, Linda Osher, Danette Rollo, Douglas and sister Ruth Cole.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, son Maurice, daughter Lois Osher, her parents, one sister, two brothers and one grandson. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 10, 1992)
