Marie Alice Larson the daughter of Walter and Mable (Norris) Benton was born September 14, 1920 in Webb, Iowa. She died on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, Iowa at the age of 85.

On August 5, 1938, Marie was united in marriage to Arthur Larson at Albert Lea, Minnesota. Following their marriage, the couple made their home on the family farm northwest of Estherville, where Marie helped Art with the farming. Art died on September 6, 2000. Marie has been a resident of Rosewood Manor since 2002.

Left to cherish Marie's memory is her daughter, Bonnie Jean Anderson and her husband, Wood of Mason City, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Fran Larson of Estherville; grandchildren, Dawn Glelis; Jim Larson; Deb Ringgenberg; Steve Larson; great grandchildren, Renee; Stacia; Andrea; Kirsten; Jordan; Jeremy; Madyson; Morgan; Kolton; Makena and Kylar; great-great grandchildren, Caysie and Karysn and one sister, Ginger Helmer of Manly, Iowa.

She has been preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Jerry and Bobby and two sisters, Virginia Suby and Darlene DeMaris. (MC)
