Estherville – Services for Faye Hostetter, 78, of Estherville will be held Sunday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel with Reverend Dr. John P. Besore III prsiding. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville. She died Friday, June 5 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville Funeral Home in Estherville from 12:00 noon Sunday until Sunday.

She was born November 8, 1913 in Estherville, the daughter of Arthur and Elva (Minor) Yates. She was educated in Estherville schools graduating in 1932 and married Russell Hostetter in 1965. She moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1932 where she lived and worked until 1945 when she moved to Los Angeles, California. In 1980 she moved back to Estherville.

She is survived by two brothers; Glen Yates, Ankeny and Arnold Yates, Estherville; and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lungren, Mrs. Edna Webster, and Mrs. Alice Prentice, all of Estherville. Other survivors include her brother-in-law John Higgins, Estherville, an aunt, Mina Randall, Solon and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Neva Higgins. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 6, 1992)
