Terril – Services for Mrs. Henry (Julia) Hansen, 93, rural Terril, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Estherville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Balm officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1983 at Holy Family Hospital.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville after 3 p.m. Thursday.

Julia Grace Hite was born July 8, 1890 at Gilman, the daughter of Charles E. and Harriet (Coleman) Hite. She attended grade school in Terril and high school in Estherville and attended the Estherville Business College. On Dec. 11, 1912 she was married to John H. Frank at Estherville on Sept. 29, 1935 she married Henry Hansen at Emmetsburg. She moved to Emmet County in 1899 and has lived here since.

Mrs. Hansen was a member of the United Methodist Church; UMW; Rebekah Lodge; Past Noble Grand; Garden Club and Alpha Club.

Survivors include one son, Forest Frank, Kingsley; two daughters: Doretha Peterson, Estherville and Mrs. Ervin (Verda) Rierson, Terril; three stepsons and one stepdaughter; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great, great-grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 19 step great-grandchildren; one niece, Florence Bradford, Stuart, Fla.

Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter; one son; one grandson and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 22, 1983)
