“Suffer the little children to come unto me.” For these tiny souls who are not strong enough to fight life’s battle, God takes them to his arms to care for and to await our coming. For those loved ones the hours are full of sorrow and sadness but to her it brings peace and we know she is safe in the arms of Jesus.

Thursday evening July 29, 1928, God took to his fold little Bonnie Jean Halleck, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Halleck, at the age of five months and eleven days. Funeral services were held from the home. Rev. A.L. Ragsdale delivered the sermon and burial was made in the Oak Hill cemetery.

Bonnie Jean Halleck was born on February 15, 1928, and passed away July 26, 1928. Those who survive her are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Halleck, and sisters Beverly June, Luella, and Mrs. A.S. Fogleson, formerly Vernice Halleck. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, August 1, 1928)
