Estherville – Services for Mrs. Mabelle L. Hagan, 92, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. She died Wednesday, February 27, 1991 at Holy Family Hospital. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Friday also at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. Estherville – Services for Mabelle Lucille Hagan, 92, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Allen officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 1991 at Holy Family Hospital.

She was born August 30, 1898 in Sabetha, Kans., the daughter of Frank and Anna (Thiel) Hollister and attended Sabetha Schools, she also received a Teachers Education Certificate in Kansas. On March 29, 1920 she married Hugh Hagan at Cherokee. The couple farmed 46 years in the Cherokee and Storm Lake areas and retired in 1966 and moved to Estherville. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Truesdale and later in Estherville.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. C.L. (Rosanne) Hackett, Estherville; Mrs. Roger (Virginia) Nelson, Saratoga, Calif. and Mrs. Raymond (Norma) Reusche, Atlanta, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mar. 6, 1969; parents; one sister and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 2, 1991)
