Harry Haburn
Estherville – Services for Harry Luther Haburn, 48, Estherville will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Balm of the United Methodist Church will officiate the services. Haburn died Wednesday, June 22, 1983 at the Marion Health Center in Sioux City.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today (Friday).

Haburn was born Sept. 4, 1934 at Peterson, the son of Beryl and Esther Haburn. He attended and was a graduate of the Cherokee Schools. On May 22, 1954 he was united in marriage with Peggy Joy Howe at Spencer. The couple lived at Spencer before moving to Estherville 15 years ago. Haburn was employed at the McQuay Company at Spirit Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Joy, Estherville; two sons, Gregory and Dennis Haburn, Estherville; two sisters, Reene Garrett, Spencer and Denise Ayers, Estherville; seven grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Esther Radley, Spencer; two brothers, Richard Radley, Spencer; one sister, Getta Radley, Tulsa, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his father. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 24, 1983)
