May 20 – Betty Jane, daughter of Dr. J.M. and Grace Card Frederickson [Fredericksen] (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, June 26, 1918)

A baby girl was born to Dr. and Mrs. J.M. Fredericiksen Monday at the Anderson hospital in Estherville. The baby died during that night and was buried there. Mrs. Fredericksen is getting along as well as can be expected. She was taken with convulsions early Monday after which she was rushed to the hospital for an operation.
