Services for Levi. S. [Severine]Larson, 85, will be held Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Bowe officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Sunday, Nov. 27, 1983 at Rosewood Manor. Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Larson was born Aug. 20, 1898 at Dunnell, Minn., the son of Sam and Anna Lavina (Bertness) Larson. He attended country schols and Technical Schoool at Austin, Minn. On March 18, 1924 he was united in marriage with Cecile Iseminger in Estherville. The couple farmed in Emmet County until retiring in 1963. In June 1974 they moved into Estherville where they have lived since. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife Cecile, Estherville; two sons, Maurice rural Estherville and David, Afton; five daughters; Arlene, Mrs. Leonard Zitterich, Terril; Delores, Mrs. Merwyn Shorey, Milford; Ardis, Mrs. Kenneth Pilquist, Lois, Mrs. Omar Quastad, Barbara, Mrs. George Johnson, Estherville; 28 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Milton Larson, Huntington and one sister, Mrs. Gladys Lunmsden, Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November, 1983)
