Remains Brought Here for Burial
The remains of John F. Eikert were brought here from Luverne, Minn., Monday morning for burial beside those of his two children in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. Eikert, who was formerly and up to three years ago a resident of Estherville, succumbed to cancer of the stomach from which he suffered for a long time. Accompanying the remains were Mrs. Eikert and a few Luverne friends. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, December 27, 1905)
