Hibbing, Minn. – Services for Neva Ditsworth, 89, formerly of Estherville, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with Dr. John Besore III officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Tuesday, March 27, 1990 at the Mesabi Regional Medical Center, Hibbing.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born May 23, 1904 at Bancroft, the daughter of Benjamin and Minnie (Greene) Hayden and attended Bancroft School, and was a graduate of Estherville High School. On Dec. 25, 1926 she married Bert Ditsworth of Estherville. She lived her entire married life in Estherville and worked as a secretary for the Chamber of Commerce five years in the late 50’s. She moved to Nashwauk, Minn. in 1987 to be near her daughter. She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Franc (Donna) Holland, Seattle, Wash. and Mrs. Phil (Nancy) Nunn, Nashwauk, Minn. and one son, Richard Ditsworth, Seattle; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in September, 1969; parents, four sisters and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 29, 1990)
