Funeral of Mrs. Dennis Kenney to Be Held Saturday
Mrs. Dennis Kenney [Sophia Grindling], 60, of Estherville, died Saturday [March 16, 1946] afternoon at 1:30 at the Kenney home after a long illness.

She was born July 28, 1885, at Metamora, Ill. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mildred Kenney, and a son, Patrick Kenney.

Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight at the Kenney home, 221 S. 13th street, and funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick’s church. Burial will be in the St. Patrick’s cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 18, 1946)
