Mrs. J.H. Cramer Dies; Rites Monday
Mrs. J.H. Cramer, 70, died at 7:25 last night at the Cramer home of a coronary thrombosis, Mrs. Cramer had not been well for some time.

Born at Wesley, Feb. 1, 1886, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. A.A. Wilcox, Vashta [Vashti] Wilcox was a graduate of Estherville high school in 1904. After two years of college at Cornell, Miss Wilcox returned to Estherville where she taught until her marriage to John H. Cramer, June 12, 1911.

Mrs. Cramer had been organist for White Shrine since its founding in Estherville and organist for Eastern Star and Social Order of Beauceant for many years. She also has served as organist off and on for the Methodist, Presbyterian and Baptist churches for a number of years.

Survivors in addition to her husband are one son, John W. of Minneapolis, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Ione) Spengler, Ocheyedan, Mrs. A.J. (Marie) Van Eps, Palmyra, Nebr., and Mrs. Robert (Jean) Ketchel, who is scheduled to arrive this evening from Honolulu where her husband is stationed; and one sister, Rose Wilcox, of Marion and one brother, Earl, of Minneapolis.

Services have tentatively been set for 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at the Methodist church, the Rev. Harrison G. Dawes officiating. Definite time of services will be announced from the pulpit at worship services at the Methodist church tomorrow morning. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
