Lee Case
Marshalltown – L.W. (Lee) Case, 89, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1987 at the Iowa Soldiers Home in Marshalltown. Memorial services were held at the home on Monday, Nov. 30.

He was born in 1898 in Estherville, the son of George and Mary Case and lived most of his life in Estherville. Case was a World War One veteran and was a mail carrier in Estherville for 42 years. His wife, Esther preceded him in death in May of 1977.

Survivors include one son, Rodney B. Case, Washington, D.C.; daughter Mrs. Pete (Mara Lee) Nelson, Mission, Tex.; grandchildren Kelly, Nicole and Kurt and several great-grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 5, 1987)
