Estherville – Services for Evelyn Brandt, 74, of Estherville will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Estherville with Rev. David Wendel officiating. Interment will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville. She died Sunday, December 19, 1993 at the Rosewood Manor Care Center in Estherville.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman in Estherville.

She was born September 29, 1919 in Ottosen, the daughter of Harry and Grace (Brown) Littell. She received her education in the Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School. She was united in marriage to Floyd Brandt on December 15, 1937 in Estherville, where the couple lived following their marriage. Mr. Brandt died on June 16, 1966. She was employed at L.M. Christensen’s and later, Hy-Vee. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Ruth Circle and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three sons, Dennis Brandt, of Estherville, David Brandt, of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Craig Brandt, Issaquah, Wash.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 20, 1993)
