Out-of-town relatives and friends here Tuesday [August 20, 1963] to attend funeral services held at First Methodist Church for Clyde Wilson included his brothers, Kenneth Wilson, Wilton, Wis., and Emmet Wilson, wife and children of Laurens; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Funk, Mr. and Mrs. William Fund, Mrs. Dora Will, all of Algona; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Funk, Redman; Mrs. Kate Jacobson, Maynard Wilson, Gary Wilson, all of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Astwald, Wittemore; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Newman, Omaha, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Johnson, Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. Robert McClelland, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Iverson, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Chase and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Iverson and Debby, Mrs. Eric Mohr and Margaret, all of Clinton; the Rev. and Mrs. Gene Foeringer, Rushford, Minn.; Ray Burnard, Elroy Wis.; Bill Burnard, LaFagre, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Darvin Iverson and family, Ringsted; Mr. and Mrs. Enis Brunsvold, Hanlonton; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Swalve and family, Graettinger; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Egemo and Orland, Fenton; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Scott, Brooklyn, S.D.Pallbearers were Willard Bebo, Harley Rierson, Vernon Carlson, Clarence Moffitt, Harold Schlotfeldt and Robert Glenn. Honorary pallbearers included Harold Sawyer, Elden Weber, Luverne Peterson, Clifford Clark, Herman Jensen, Jerry Hood, Arnold Yates and Kenneth Murray. Burial was in East Side cemetery with military rites conducted at the graveside. The Rev. Roger Tappmeyer officiated. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 22, 1963)
