John Edwin Wee
Estherville – Funeral services for John Edwin Wee, 81, Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Harmon officiating and burial at the East Side Cemetery. He died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital.

Mr. Wee was born Jan. 3, 1894 at Lake Mills to Mr. and Mrs. Lars Wee and was educated at Lake Mills. He was married to Ethel A. Misener April 14, 1917 at Estherville and lived most of his life in Estherville. He was a conductor for the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad for 53 years, was a member of the Presbyterian Church and United Transportation Union.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; three sons, Gerald, Wallingford; Merlyn, Estherville; and Robert, West Coving, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. John (Vernice) Challberg, Sacramento, Calif.; and Mrs. Jerry (Sheryl) Nauss, Estherville; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur, Grinnell; and Oden, Estherville.
