Anna Quastad Ihlan, 80, died Oct. 20 at Holy Family Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver with the Rev. Dale Jenson officiating.

The body will then be shipped to Mesa, Ariz., for 10 a.m. Monday services with the Rev. H. Ervin Petersen, formerly of Graettinger, officiating.

Mrs. Ihlan was born Aug. 29, 1896 to Ole and Martha Quastad of rural Estherville. She was married to Richard Ihlan April 17, 1949 in Fairmont, Minn. She made her home in Estherville until moving to Mesa, Ariz., in recent years. Mrs. Ihlan had been employed for many years with the Gamble-Robinson Co. and with Robinson Motors. She was also a longtime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Adolph Quastad, Armstrong; and Mrs. John Quastad, Estherville; and one brother-in-law, William J. Reid, Armstrong; and nieces and nephews. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 22, 1976)
